Become Certified
This training represents Module 1 of our Clinical Yoga Therapy program which is accredited through IAYT, and represents the content of our Applied Yoga program for everyone who already is 300H-YTT certified. Upon completion, students will be eligible to apply for our Yoga Therapy program at Module 2.
This training offers 200 hours of clinical application and case studies, including our Yoga Therapy for Anxiety and Pranayama courses. Once trainees graduate, they maintain access to training materials for life.
What You'll Learn
You will receive insights and gain knowledge in the clinical applications of Hatha Yoga.
Kindly note that this course is not a full IAYT-certification, but only represents the first module. If you already are a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, this is the training you want to enroll at before applying for the complete, IAYT-certified Yoga Therapy program.
Flexible Access with Community Connection
Register anytime and work at your own pace. All required texts are included in electronic format. Students will receive access to pre-recorded video lectures, asana practices with Michelle, written content, as well as a one-week pass to our online studio. Students also learn from live weekend lectures (Saturdays and Sundays via Zoom) which are recorded for those who cannot attend. We also offer practice teaching opportunities and over 15 weekly office hours with Lead Trainers and our Peer Support Team. These office hours provide additional learning and the opportunity to ask questions about content. Additionally, students can expect one-on-one coaching, unlimited access to lead trainers, podcast content, and access to a diverse and intimate online community with members from around the globe.

Your Instructor
Michelle is a highly experienced and dedicated yoga therapist and instructor with expertise in education, health and wellness, nutrition, yoga therapy, and yoga. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her practice.
She holds an M.Ed in curriculum development, which enhances her ability to create comprehensive and effective certifications that meet the needs of her students. Michelle is also a certified Yoga Therapist, Ayurvedic Nutritionist, and Mindfulness Coach, providing her clients with a holistic approach to support their transformational journey.
As an E-RYT 500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and C-IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapy) Yoga Therapist, Michelle specializes in working with individuals in eating recovery and cardiac rehabilitation. Her extensive training in Yoga, mindfulness, Ayurveda, nutrition, and biochemistry provides her with a deep understanding of these specific areas.
Michelle's teaching experience extends to various settings, including clinical environments, public classes, corporate settings, and private sessions. She also shares her knowledge and expertise through workshops and retreats, offering guidance and insights to individuals seeking to enhance their yoga practice and explore the transformative benefits it offers.
With a strong educational foundation and a commitment to ongoing professional development, Michelle continues to expand her knowledge in yoga therapy, Ayurveda, spiritual coaching, metaphysics, and tantra yoga. This comprehensive approach allows her to bring a well-rounded and integrative perspective to her teaching, helping individuals discover the profound mind-body-spirit connections that yoga can foster.
