Resources For Yoga Therapists

Yoga Therapists work with clients in a variety of ways to help bring them into balance. Yoga Therapy uses anatomy and physiology, subtle bodies, yoga philosophy, and evidence based research to create a model where the client is evaluated physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually to identify a curated practice that supports homeostasis.

In this course, students will receive explicit instructions on how to provide clients with consultations, facilitate intakes, assess clients baseline, identify key metrics, and create plans that move the client towards their goal. Students receive assessment tools, skills practice, and educational visual aids to help them educate and teach their clients holistic wellness practices rooted in ancient wisdom teaching and science.

This course is designed for Yoga Teachers, Yoga Therapists, Yoga Therapists in training, or mental health providers looking to integrate yoga, meditation, and mindfulness into their private practice. This course is a supplement to yoga therapy, and will not give you the credentials to become a certified yoga therapists. Individuals seeking training in yoga therapy can enroll in our Applied Yoga Certification, which includes our 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training and the initial bridge curriculum that prepares you for yoga therapy coursework and clinical applications.
