My Major takeaway from Foundations of Meditation is that meditation is not only silent meditation. (Which I find challenging) it encompasses so much more: alternate nostril breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, breath awareness, visualization, vipassana, compassionate self-forgiveness, non-attachment, guided meditations (body sensing, breath sensing, aspect and Japa) sound healing and Yoga Nidra. I can practice the ones that speak to me the most and teach these to my students.
